The spectacular mature gardens, set across 10,000 square metres, include an Italianate style rose garden, cobbled pathways, fountains and multi-level terracing. The gardens make this venue ideal for those everlasting wedding day photos.

Whether it’s a small intimate ceremony or a large wedding reception, Quinta Bonita has a variety of location options within their grounds, including a covered terrace overlooking the sea, a beautiful Portuguese tiled Barbecue area for smaller weddings and two large lawns.

The icing on the cake is a decadent Honeymoon suite for the wedding night with a fairytale four poster bed, private balcony with beautiful sea views, separate living area and spa bath. Quinta Bonita also offers honeymoon packages with French champagne, red roses and in room massage treatments.

Location: On the Matos Morenos hillside, 10 minutes from the old port of Lagos and the beautiful beaches of The Algarve, Portugal

Accommodation information: 8 individually designed spacious suites which accommodate a maximum of 18 people on an exclusive use basis. This includes one master suite with a four poster bed.

Each room has its own private terrace or balcony (six with sea view), 100% Egyptian cotton linen, mini-bar, air-conditioning/heating, complimentary wi-fi, flat screen TV/UK satellite, bathrobes and organic toiletries.

A full buffet breakfast featuring fruit from their orchard and bread delivered warm daily is enjoyed whilst overlooking the sweeping lawns. As an additional treat, complimentary afternoon tea and cake is served daily on one of the sun drenched terraces.

Exclusivity? Quinta Bonita can be hired on an exclusive use basis for your ceremony, blessing and/or reception or simply as the base for your wedding party if your reception is to be held off site. There is a three night minimum stay (two nights between November and March) for exclusive use.

Accommodation rates: Rates start from €2680 for the whole venue for a minimum three night stay, including a full buffet breakfast and afternoon tea.

Do I need a wedding planner? The owners, Fraser and Chantelle (who has a background in Event Management) provide a personalised five star service and along with their team of professionals, will ensure every detail of you day is planned to perfection, from flowers, catering and photographers to make-up and hair stylists.

Quinta Bonita will also arrange any additional requirements for your in-house guests during their stay, such as a welcome dinner, gourmet lunch hampers for a day’s excursion or perhaps a half day sailing honeymoon along the stunning Algarve Coastline.
